 Having gone through extensive shoulder surgery 5 years ago I have been struggling for years to get back in shape and regain my natural range of motion. After years of working out to get back to my pre-surgery shape I was only able to regain 60% of my range of motion and honestly regretted getting surgery. When I first heard about the Body Dojo workouts and how it only required your body weight I was very skeptical but figured what do I have to lose. After 4 months following the Body dojo workout I must admit I was glad I took a chance. At this point I've regained 85-90% of my range of motion and no longer struggle with the shoulder pain associated with working out with weights. The Body Dojo workouts are surprisingly efficient in how they target your whole body! Best part of it all is since the Body Dojo doesn't require using weight or significant equipment I am able to squeeze in a workout anywhere I travel.

Wishing you a Happy New Year! 💪💪💪 It's a new decade, time for big change! Make those resolutions, set those goals, and knock them out of the park! You can do it!

Don't wait for Monday. Start today! Your health and fitness can't wait. Remember, no excuses! I wanted to send you a message a little early. Like you, I like to make New Year's resolutions. It's cliche, but it's always a good thing to set some goals. The New Year is always a great opportunity to start fresh.

These are some of the things I'm going to focus on this year, and this decade! Feel free to use some or all of these as part of your resolutions. Feel free to shoot me a DM with any questions or comments.

1. Prioritize my nutrition. I'm in my 40's, I really have to watch what I eat, so I'm going to limit processed foods, and cut meat consumption down 70% (no more than 1 meal per day, even better, 3 times per week). 2. Document my workouts. I used to be really diligent about tracking all my reps and sets. I fell off over the past few months so I will get back on track. Documenting your workouts is a great way to measure your progress, and to see how far you have come along. This is also a great way to stick to a strategy. We make it easy to log your workouts on bodydojo.com, so really no excuses for me!

3. Maintain Balance. I live by a philosophy of maintaining balance. I use the 5 F's: Fitness, Family, Faith, Friends, and Finances. If any of these fall my stress levels go up or I may not be as happy as I should. Focus on keeping these 5 things in check and I guarantee you will find yourself happier and healthy!
