What is it?
The Body Dojo is a fitness philosophy. It is about achieving your natural potential and abilities using your own bodyweight. In essence, this can be found throughout a variety of disciplines including calisthenics, yoga, martial arts, and many sports. Using your own bodyweight allows you to progress in strength and abilities in a safe and progressive manner. You will improve on proprioception, balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength.
How does it work?
Our programs are progressive, guiding you throughout the way to improve at your own pace. The Body Dojo is not a one size fits all, quick fix program, we believe each individual’s fitness journey should be personalized to their own natural abilities and strengths. The way we progress is by setting goals, ripping through them, leveling up and grinding towards your net set of goals! Hitting your goals will give you a tremendous set of accomplishment, and provide you with the motivation to keep going and work towards your next set of goals.
The core of our program is based on increasing strength through the practice of calisthenics:
Calisthenics (American English) or callisthenics (Commonwealth English) are exercises consisting of a variety of gross motor movements—running, standing, grasping, pushing, etc. — often performed rhythmically and with minimal equipment, so essentially, bodyweight exercises. They are intended to increase body strength, body fitness, and flexibility, through movements such as pulling or pushing oneself up, bending, jumping, or swinging, using only one’s body weight for resistance; usually conducted in concert with stretches. When performed vigorously and with variety, calisthenics can provide the benefits of muscular and aerobic conditioning, in addition to improving psychomotor skills such as balance, agility and coordination.

The Strength Program is built upon 8 strength levels. Depending on your current strength and abilities, your personalized workout program is based around one of these strength levels. We designed each strength level to contain programs to build up the muscle, skills and abilities to move onto the next level. It’s simple to get started, we take the guess work out and continue to work on making it as easy as possible for you to develop your own personalized workout program.
