Archer ring dips Guide


  1. Position the rings at about armpit height
  2. Jump up into a support position
  3. Perform a tricep dip, except extend one arm straight out to the side
    1. Rotate the shoulder of the straight arm forward to help “lock in” the arm
  4. Maintaining tension in the straight arm, push yourself back up to the support position
  5. Repeat for reps
Key Points:
  • At first you may not be able to completely lock out the straight arm, it’s okay to have a slight bend at first, but focus on eventually straightening out the arm
  • Perform the move with control in both concentric and eccentric phases
