Beast walks Guide


Instructions

  1. Start from a beast position
  2. Simultaneously lift your right hand and left foot, move them forward about 8-10 inches
    1. Keep your knees low to the ground
  3. Place your right hand and left foot on the ground
  4. Repeat with the left hand and right foot
  5. Walk for the desired number of steps
Key points
  • It is important to engage your scapular muscles, do not relax your shoulders and let your torso “sag” between your shoulders
  • Keep your supporting arm straight
  • Keep your knees as low to the ground as possible without touching
  • When first starting out, you may not be able to balance on one hand and foot, you can lift the hand, and then the foot seperately until you get acquainted to the movement
  • Do not take too big of a step that your supporting leg becomes straight
