Backward crab walk Guide
Instructions
- From a squat position, place your hands on the ground behind you
- Keeping your body tight, knees bent and close to your chest, walk backwards
- Use alternating hands and feet
- Try to lift both your hand and foot at the same time
- Walk for the desired number of steps
Key points
- Keep your shoulders/scapular muscles engaged by pushing away from the ground with your arms
- “peel” your fingers off the ground, pushing up with your wrists
- Move in a slow, controlled manner
