Downward dog to push up Guide


Instructions

  1. Start from a downward dog position, position your hands a little wider than shoulder width apart
  2. Simultaneously drop your hips and bend your arms, lowering your body to the ground
  3. Simultaneously push back up and raise your hips, back into the downward dog position
  4. Push your chest towards your feet, opening your shoulders
  5. Repeat for desired number of reps

  • Keep your elbows pointed backwards when performing the push up motion
  • Focus on opening your shoulders in the downward dog position, pushing your chest towards your feet
