Tuck planche Guide

Instructions

  1. Starting from a squat position, position your feet and knees together so you are in a tuck
  2. Place your hands on the floor in front of you
  3. Keeping your arms locked, lean forward. Your shoulders should be forward of your wrists
  4. Keeping your legs and feet in a tuck position, lift your upper body off the floor and balance
  5. Hold for the desired amount of time
Key points
  • This is both a pushing and pulling movement, push away from the ground and imagine lifting your butt off the ground at the same time
  • Leaning forward and pushing your fingertips into the ground will help you with balance
  • Push away from the ground, extending your shoulder blades apart
  • Point the pits of your arms forward to help lock in your shoulder
