Instructions

  1. Place your hands about 1 foot away from the wall
  2. Kick up into a handstand, using the wall for balance
  3. Release one foot from the wall and extend it straight up vertically
  4. When you are ready, bring both feet together off the wall
  5. Try to maintain a handstand
    1. If you feel like you are falling back towards the wall, catch yourself with your feet
    2. If you are falling away from the wall, land on your feet and try again
  6. Practice for the desired amount of time

Key points

  • Focus on maintaining a hollow body position when both feet are released from the wall, this will help you align your body
  • Pointing your toes to the sky will help you maintain tension in your legs, which will help your balance and maintain your line
