Wide grip ring push ups Guide


Instructions

  1. Adjust the rings between 6 inches to 2 feet above the ground
    1. The higher the rings the easier the exercise
  2. Grasp the rings and position the hands with a wide grip, about 6 inches wider than shoulder width.
  3. Get into a straight arm plank position
  4. Keeping your elbows pointed backwards, lower yourself as low as you can go, ideally chest level with your hands
  5. Push yourself back up into the starting position, extend your scapular muscles apart at the top position
    1. Keep your hands the same distance apart throughout the movement
  6. Repeat for required number of reps

  • Maintain a hollow position with your body throughout the exercise
