Instructions
- Hang from the rings with a supinated grip (chin up grip)
- Pull yourself up, chin above your hands
- Perform the following movements maintaining your head elevated above your hands.
- While maintaining tension in your right bicep, rotate and straighten your left arm out to your side
- Your left palm should now be facing the ground
- Push “down” with your left arm while simultaneously pulling up with your right arm
- Keep your right arm in a supinated grip position
- Hold this position for a moment and then bring your left arm back to the starting position (supinated grip next to your body)
- This is one rep. Repeat from Step 4, this time straightening the right arm.
- Continue alternating arms for instructed number of sets.
Key points:
- The key to this exercise is maintaining tension in your “pulling” bicep, keeping your head elevated above your hands
- If your head falls to below your hands, this completes your set
